Colby Johnson is a San Diego-based electronic music producer and DJ, originally from Olympia, Washington. His journey into music began early, studying classical piano at the age of six before evolving into a deep connection with electronic music during his time exploring Seattle’s underground party and club scene.

Drawing influence from pioneering acts like Justice, Kaskade, Mr. Oizo, Daft Punk, Deadmau5, MSTRKRFT, and The Bloody Beetroots, Colby’s sound blends melodic textures with driving rhythms—rooted in house, techno, and electro. His diverse taste and musical intuition quickly translated into the world of DJing, leading to early residencies at clubs across Washington and later in Champaign, Illinois.
